By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PrepX, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

PrepX is an AI-native study application designed for Ethiopian high school students. Our Service provides:

• Interactive quizzes and assessments
• Flashcards for memorization
• Personalized study notes
• AI-powered chat tutoring
• Socratic questions and worksheets
• Educational content across various subjects

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have parental/guardian consent to create an account. The Service is intended for educational purposes; it does not replace professional instruction.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Certain features of PrepX require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription plan
• Automatic renewal of subscriptions unless cancelled
• Payment through authorized third-party payment processors
• No refunds except as required by law or at our discretion

Subscription fees are subject to change with reasonable notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or app store settings.

Trials, refunds, and taxes

• Free trials (if offered) convert to paid unless cancelled before the end of the trial.
• Refunds are handled by the platform you purchased through (e.g., app store) unless we state otherwise.
• Prices may exclude taxes; applicable taxes are your responsibility.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and code, are owned by PrepX, Temaribet, or their licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service (such as notes). However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you provide and must ensure it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Feedback and suggestions

If you submit feedback or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without obligation.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that defects will be corrected.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPX AND TEMARIBET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PrepX, Temaribet, and our affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party services (e.g., payment processors, authentication providers). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you downloaded the app from an app store, your use of the app may also be subject to that store's terms. In case of conflict, those terms may apply to the extent required by the platform.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

You must comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws. You may not use the Service if you are subject to relevant sanctions or located in a prohibited jurisdiction.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us at support@temaribet.io with details of the alleged infringement. We may remove or disable access to content at our discretion.

• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
• No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• Entire agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
• Headings: Headings are for convenience only.
