PrepX is operated by Temaribet ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy applies to the PrepX mobile apps and web services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

  • Payment: transaction identifiers and billing metadata handled by processors; we do not store full card numbers.

  • Approximate location: only if you grant permission; used to localize content and comply with regional rules.

  • Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30–90 days after deletion.
  • Payment records: retained per financial and tax laws (generally 7 years in many jurisdictions).
  • Diagnostics/crash logs: up to 24 months, then aggregated or deleted.

  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Request restriction of processing

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are designed for Ethiopian high school students. If you are under the age of 18, we recommend that you review this Privacy Policy with your parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without consent, contact us and we will delete the information promptly.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our app and hold certain information. You can instruct your device to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

Where required, we seek your consent for optional analytics or performance cookies. You can change preferences in your device/app settings.

7.a App Permissions & SDKs

Depending on your device and chosen features, the app may request permissions such as notifications and network access. We request only what is needed for core functionality.

We may integrate third-party SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, authentication, or payments. These providers act as processors and are bound by contractual safeguards.

7.b International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.

7.c Your Controls and Account Deletion

  • Update profile information in account settings.
  • Manage notifications in device settings.
  • Request data export or deletion by emailing privacy@temaribet.io from your registered email.
  • Delete your account in-app (if available) or via request; we will delete or anonymize personal data subject to legal retention requirements.

7.d Ads, Analytics, and Do Not Track

We do not sell your data. If we show communications or limited promotional content, it will comply with applicable consent rules. Some analytics tools may process pseudonymous identifiers; you can opt out where available.

The app does not respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals. Mobile OS privacy settings may provide similar controls.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

10. Google Play Data Safety Summary

  • Collected: identifiers (account, device), usage data, diagnostics; optional approximate location with permission.
  • Purpose: app functionality, account management, analytics, security, subscription fulfillment.
  • Sharing: with processors for operation (e.g., payments, analytics); no sale of personal information.
  • Security: data in transit is encrypted; organizational safeguards apply.
  • Deletion: user can request deletion; data is deleted or anonymized subject to legal retention.
